  1. An interesting piece in light of the subtle repositioning forced on cable and communication networks by Apple and the iPhone -- the express objective being that the device controls the user experience and the communication technology companies possess only a 'dumb' pipeline.
    Apple was the first (and only company) to break the carriers device restrictions, thereby taking control of the future of the user experience.
    I need to consider this more.
